Notocactus leninghausii ‘Golden Ball Cactus live plant ( size 3 inches) flowering size

With bright green, columnar stems, the shallow ribbing of Notocactus leninghausii ‘Golden Ball Cactus’ is almost entirely obscured by the shimmery aura created by a profusion of both short and long creamy yellow spines. While this variety can reach up to 2 feet tall within the landscapes of its native Brazil, in our homes it tends to stay far more petite, adding a pop of sunshine to any well-lit windowsill.

Repotting: This plant needs plenty of space for its roots, repotting should be done every other year or when the it has outgrown its pot.

Sunlight: This plant tolerates bright situations which encourages flowering and heavy spine production, but is likely to suffer from sun scorch or stunted growth if over exposed to direct sunlight during the hottest part of the day in summer. It grows well with filtered sunlight or afternoon shade.
