Also, kown as Parodia werneri, it is a a nice cactus usually solitary, sometimes branching basally to form small clumps. the most amazing is their magenta to royal purple flowers that will apear every spring. is easy to grow and quite resistant to neglect. Nevertheless, it is appropriate to provide adequate growing conditions in order to obtain abundant blooms.
It is a relatively rapidly growing species that will make large clumps given the best conditions.
