Chamaedorea palm is one of the most widely used indoor gardenings for bright interio Handsome, arching, green pinnate leaves, with 12 or more pairs of narrow leaflets per leaf. Plants are dioecious.

It is a compact table palm , grows slowly reaches maximum height upto 6 feet.

The main difference between areca palm and parlour palm is leaves are light green in parlour palm. The main feature of parlour palm is it grows well in indoor light but Areca palm requires bright outdoor light.

Care Growing Conditions

WATERING:

water the soil thoroughly, until it starts to come out of the pot’s drainage holes. Giving houseplants a good, more water encourages healthy root system development. Water the plants only when the soil is 1 finger depth dry.

 LIGHT:

Place the potted plant near window ensure it gets bright indirect sunlight. Keep anywhere in your home where the bright sunlight reaches the plant.

Soil: plant it in a peat based perlite added loose soil mixture.

Fertilizer: Apply Npk all 19 (5gms)once in a month

Repotting: To be done once the plant grown full in the pot.
