Calathea Lancifolia rattlesnake healthy live plant in 4.5inch plastic pot

Calathea Lancifolia ‘Rattlesnake Plant’ has wavy edges and elongated leaves. The alternating dark green ovals, overlaying the bright green behind it resemble that of the intricate patterns of a snake’s skin. The burgundy underside only enhances the contrast of the dark green patterns; like the smooth belly of a snake.

Care:
Prefers medium to bright indirect light, high humidity, and shielded from direct sun or breezy window as this decreases the humidity the Calathea needs to survive indoors.

SUNLIGHT
It grows well in bright indirect sunlight.

SOIL
Soil should be well drain and porus.

WATERING

• Poke your finger/plain small stick into the soil to check the moisture.
• Apply water when the top soil (3-4 inch) in pot feels dry to touch.
• Apply water probably in the morning or evening time.
• Do not overwater the plant.
• As a rule of thumb, water the plant thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering in winter and rainy season
